Our History
Building healthcare systems that work end to end
The Beginning
Aortic Healthwork Group was founded on a simple yet urgent observation: many of healthcare’s greatest challenges do not stem from a lack of clinical knowledge, but from how systems are designed and operated.
Early Formation
In its early phase, Aortic Healthwork Group focused on strategic reviews across the healthcare industry, as well as marketing strategy development in collaboration with advertising agencies serving governments, pharmaceutical, and hospital clients. The firm frequently partnered with management consulting firms, supporting hospital clients across Southeast Asia, particularly on commercial and operational priorities.
The work was grounded, hands-on and deeply embedded within hospital environments. These early engagements shaped a defining approach: combining clinical insight, market understanding, and execution discipline.
Expanding Scope
As healthcare systems grew more complex, so did the firm’s scope of work. Aortic Healthwork Group expanded beyond hospital operations into broader domains:
patient experience design
access to care and referral systems
talent and specialist distribution
institutional positioning and communication
This marked a shift, from addressing isolated operational issues to designing integrated healthcare ecosystems.
Building Capabilities
Over time, Aortic Healthwork Group developed structured advisory capabilities across clinical operations, population access, and healthcare strategy. The firm also began integrating research and downstreaming initiatives, ensuring that insights are not only theoretical, but actionable and economically relevant.
Collaboration became central, working alongside clinicians, hospital leaders, and industry partners to co-create solutions that are both practical and scalable.
