Our History

Aortic Healthwork Group traces its origins to R. Bayu Pawiratmojo & Partner's, a healthcare focused consulting practice established in 2013. From its inception, the firm concentrated exclusively on the healthcare sector, providing strategic planning, organizational transformation, market development, and policy advisory services across pharmaceutical companies, medical technology firms, hospitals, healthcare providers, non-governmental organizations, and public health institutions.

Formation of TCG

In 2018, R. Bayu Pawiratmojo & Partner's was integrated into Tigamark Consulting Group (TCG), a platform created to consolidate complementary healthcare focused capabilities under a single organizational structure.

The consolidation brought together several specialized divisions, including:

Under this structure, the organization expanded its work across healthcare delivery, pharmaceutical commercialization, healthcare branding, public health campaigns, and institutional development initiatives throughout Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Establishment of Aortic Healthwork Group

By 2021, the healthcare provider sector had become increasingly distinct in its challenges and opportunities. Hospitals, health systems, specialty providers, and healthcare networks required specialized expertise that extended beyond traditional consulting and communications services. In response, the healthcare provider division was separated and established as an independent organization under the name Aortic Healthwork Group.

The name "Aortic Healthwork" was chosen to symbolize a central principle of healthcare transformation. Just as the aorta serves as the primary conduit supporting the circulation of life, healthcare organizations depend on the effective integration of strategy, operations, workforce, patient experience, and institutional governance.

The newly formed organization was structured around two primary divisions:

Aortic Healthwork Global, responsible for regional advisory services, strategic partnerships, healthcare innovation initiatives, and international collaborations. Aortic Healthwork Indonesia, focused on healthcare transformation, hospital strategy, operational excellence, physician engagement, and health system development within Indonesia.

Expansion and Transformation

The organization increasingly advised healthcare institutions on hospital strategy, physician strategy, patient experience design, population access, healthcare communication, service line growth, and research management.

At the same time, the group strengthened its capabilities in healthcare intelligence, data-driven decision making, healthcare workforce development, and ecosystem collaboration.

Reinvention and Legacy

Its evolution reflects a conviction that the future of healthcare will be determined not only by advances in medicine, but by the ability of organizations to build resilient systems, align stakeholders, and transform strategy into measurable impact.

Today, Aortic Healthwork Group continues to work alongside healthcare leaders, providers, governments, and industry partners to shape the next generation of healthcare systems across Asia and the broader region.
